This 1/34 Scale First Gear truck is made of die cast metal. It was made exclusively for the ELMHURST CHICAGO STONE Company in Elmhurst, IL. The tandem axle R-Model Mack Cement mixer is painted green and white. The Elmhurst Chicago Stone company began in 1883 at the Elmhurst stone quarry. They produced a variety of stone based products. In 1940 the company ventured into the redi-mex concrete business. The truck has a highly detailer interior and exterior including the company's authentic paint and logos. Features of the truck include a rotating drum, operational chute and steerable front wheels. This truck is one of an original run of 1260 pieces. Adult collectible.
