This is a very special 3 piece Code 3 set. It includes what has been dubbed the "Ten House" House #10, Engine #10 and Ladder #10. Both Engine & Ladder are new in the original manufacturer boxes, the House is sold as is. Everything is in good condition. the bottom of the floor has a crease in it. looks like it can be fixed, we do not have the original box for the House.
Code 3 FDNY E-10 / L-10 Firehouse (13109): Firehouse is modeled in incredible detail. This newly renovated firehouse features two roll-up bay doors, a detailed facade, the American flag flying in all its glory and the firefighters angel banner. This item can be collected with #12834 FDNY Engine 10. Standing Tall Both Engine 10 and Ladder 10 were organized from Volunteer Fire Companies in 1865 and each had several homes before being brought together at Liberty Street in 1984. The Ten House, located on Liberty Street directly across from where the World Trade Center stood, suffered significant damage and was nearly destroyed on September 11, 2001. Code 3 FDNY Seagrave High Pressure Pumper E-10 (12834): FDNY Engine 10 is modeled in incredible detail. The company and FDNY logos can be found on this apparatus as well as a tribute to 9-11-01. A message of support is shown across the front windshield "WE SUPPORT OUR TROOPS".Engine 10 and Ladder 10 nevertheless played a vital role in the daily operations at ground zero. Length 5.75"
Code 3 FDNY Seagrave Rear Mount Ladder 10 (12724): FDNY Ladder 10 was originally organized on October 20, 1865, in the former firehouse of Southawk Engine 38 of the old volunteer department. After being disbanded in 1975 due to a budget crisis, they were re-organized on July 1, 1984 in the quarters of Engine 10 at 124 Liberty Street in lower Manhattan, becoming only one of two FDNY fire stations to have both the same number engine and ladder in the same quarters. Due to this unusual situation this firehouse became known as the "Ten House".
